All transmission cores are completely disassembled, cleaned and thoroughly inspected to ensure a quality product. All plates, gaskets, clutches and seals are replaced with genuine Heavy Duty Velvet Drive parts, NOT substandard aftermarket (automotive style) parts, and never with paper clutches.

All transmission units are tested on a specially built transmission dyno to ensure the units produce proper line pressure and clutch engagement at various simulated engine speeds.

Transmissions are then painted with the most durable marine machinery coating available, POR-15 (black) and can be later painted to match engine color.  See www.por15.com
